1.	Multimedia means that information is conveyed using more than one method, e.g. text, sound, video and pictures.

3.	Multimedia applications are usually supplied on optical disks such as CD-ROM.

4.	Common uses of multimedia applications are : Reference CD-ROMs such as encyclopaedias. The Internet, in particular the World Wide Web. Presentations such as training materials. Computer games.
