| Implementation : Changes
|
|
|
During the implementation you will probably find that you need to change your
design :
- You may find out about features of the software that you did not know about previously. You may be able to use
these features to improve your design.
- You may find that some of the things you hoped to do are not possible with the software you are using.
- There may be faults in the design. i.e. the design does not work.
- You may find you have time to extend your system beyond the original design.
There is nothing wrong with modifying your design part way through implementing the system. If you do this then :
- If you are making an improvement to the system then you will need to include printouts of the part of the
system that has been improved both before and after the improvement. You will need to explain why the changes
you have made are an improvement.
- If you are correcting a problem with the system then you should collect evidence showing what the system did
wrong and how it was fixed. Once you have modified the parts of the system that did not work you should re-test
it to show that it now works.
